Atmospheric Reentry
Takeda Maiko's Atmospheric Reentry headdresses, as worn by Björk during her recent Biophillia tour, echo the microscopic worlds found in oceans as well as the grandiose planetary systems above us. The forms in the film highlight this and we set out to give a sense of these macro and micro worlds using grains of delicate pin-like sounds and shimmering textures to illuminate the intricacies of Takeda’s fragile yet powerful constructions.

Avant Garde Diaries
Joshua Stocker's portrait of artist Leif Podhajsky is a visualisation of the artists relationship to his work, and the internal and external world he inhabits. The score is made up of four ambient movements which accompany this dialogue, represented using a considered placement of sounds which envelop and grow into and out from one another, highlighting a balance between the clarity of inspiration and the often dreamlike state of the creative process.

Stain Glass Story
We were approached by director Bradley Bell to create a soundtrack to accompany his short film for contemporary fashion label, Illustrated People. A neon haze saturates the theme of stained glass windows and retrofitted bible stories, infusing a church like industrial backdrop. Our soundtrack reflects this setting: airy choral arrangements and echoing beats combine with volatile electronic accents and the thundering pulse of tribal drums.

We worked with artist and director Carl Burgess to create a future funk inspired track for his advert, showing the reinvention of a classic pair of Adidas trainers. In keeping with the clients desired emphasis on the incorporation of old and new we combined classic analog sounds, reminiscent of early West Coast Hip-Hop, with silvery electronic melodies.
Aoife McCardle’s piece for Tom Lipop’s River Island collection follows a solitary man’s day-to-day routine within a desolate, post apocalyptic landscape. To express our protagonist's internal world we wanted to heighten the sense of expanse and personal solitude. We were pleased to feature alongside artists such as Burial and Jon Hopkins; you can hear our piece from 2:40 onwards.
